The Shenandoah Valley has unveiled yet another golf course, adding to its repertoire, the opening of the highly anticipated Blue Ridge Shadows.
Designed by architect Tom Clark of Ault, Clark & Associates, the 18-hole par 72 features bent grass tees, fairways and greens, while multiple tees allow for a challenging, yet pleasurable, golf experience for players at all skill levels.
Measuring just over 7,300 plus yards from the tips, the layout
consists of two very distinct 9-hole sides. The front features several holes cut through hardwoods, while the back nine plays in a valley.
Blue Ridge Shadows is on everyone's must-play list. Surrounded by the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, this course is the centerpiece for the resort community that will feature a full-service hotel and spa set to open this June. Located just one hour from the Capitol Beltway on Rt. 522, just off I-66, between Winchester and Front Royal.
