Meadowcreek Golf Club

Meadowcreek Golf Course, home of The First Tee of Charlottesville, is a cut above most municipal golf courses. Sporting greens of Penncross bentgrass and Bermuda fairways, this beautiful tract is surrounded by panoramic views of Central Virginia. Meadowcreek Golf Course is adorned with large, stately oak trees flowering dogwood and cherry trees, and proudly hosts many regional tournaments.

This challenging, but player-friendly, course was designed and built in two nine-hole phases. The first nine was designed by Buddy Loving, a renowned golf course architect with many other highly respected golf course designs to his credit. The second nine was designed by Bill Love of the outstanding architectural firm of Ault, Clark & Associates.

Located just off Rt. 29 on Pen Park Road, Meadowcreek Golf course is a "must play" for golfers of all abilities.

  • Take I-66 W toward Front Royal/Vienna.
  • Take exit #43A onto US-29 S toward Warrenton/Gainesville.
  • Bear left on Hydraulic Rd.
  • Turn left on US-250-BYP E.
  • Take ramp toward Park St.
  • Turn left and follow Park St. onto East Rio Rd.
  • Turn right onto Pen Park Rd. and follow it through the gate.

From I-81

  • Take I-81 N or S toward Roanoke.
  • Take exit #221 onto I-64 E toward Richmond.
  • Take exit #118B/US-29 N onto Monacan Trail Rd (US-29) toward Culpeper/Charlottesville.
  • Monacan Trail Rd. becomes US-29 N.
  • US-29 N becomes US-250-BYP E.
  • Take ramp toward Park St.
  • Turn left and follow Park St. onto East Rio Rd.
  • Turn right onto Pen Park Rd. and follow it through the gate.
